Roosevelt, NY

In just under two years, Elite Construction of New York helped the Roosevelt School District complete its district-wide Reconstruction Program by leading the $66.9 million Roosevelt High School Renovation Project. The state-of-the-art school, which is known as the “Crown Jewel” of the district, officially opened its doors to high schoolers on September 9, 2013. The unique project involved a complete renovation of the existing building to include new utilities and a new parking lot, as well as the reconstruction of the school’s athletic field and three new additions. The school building now features a library/media wing, cafeteria/kitchen wing, technology equipped classrooms and a gymnasium with locker rooms to better serve the needs of its students.
Under Elite Construction of New York’s construction leadership, the expanded educational facility will help to foster learning for many generations of Roosevelt students. “It is not an everyday occurrence to be a part of a complete makeover of a school campus in a minimal amount of time,” stated Elite Construction of New York Chief Executive Officer Michael Reed. “This project required a committed team to lead the district and that dedication typifies who we are as a company.”
